How to stay on protocol while on vacation.

Travel and adventure concept

Where to next? Somewhere active and sunny? Let’s go!

Make your vacation special because of the moments you are sharing with your friends and family, not because of the foods you are eating. We often hear from IP dieters who struggle to stay on protocol when on vacation due to the temptations surrounding them. Here are a few tips to ensure that you don’t return home with more pounds than when you left:

1. Stock up on IP products in advance. Let us know if you are going to be on vacation for an extended time and you want specific products that we don’t normally stock a lot of on the shelves. With enough notice we can order your favorites in to make sure that you have enough to get you through your vacation.

2. Be Creative! Though it may not be exactly the same, mixing Ideal Protein Water Enhancers with soda water make an acceptable substitute to soft drinks, and flavoured drink mixes such as Pineapple and Banana and Blueberry and Cran-Granata give a similar feeling to that of drinking your favourite cocktails! Have your favourite Ideal Protein desserts on hand, such as Vanilla Crispy Squares, Brownies Lemon Wafers and Chocolatey Caramel Flavored Mug Cake instead of unhealthy desserts you will come across.

3. Don’t Panic, slip-ups happen, but make sure to get back on track right away. Don’t let one little mistake turn into three or four. It will make it much more difficult to get back on protocol.
